  Buying A Bra

Buying a bra that looks and feels good entails knowing your correct size and also a bit about what might feel comfortable to you. Properly fitted lingerie is also essential for both your personal comfort and to make sure that your posture is correct.  A bra that is too tight or too loose can also look unsightly beneath your clothing creating unwanted bumps or wrinkles. If the straps are too tight you can look slouched or like your breasts are too high or too low. Getting a good fit is absolutely paramount if you want your lingerie to create a beautiful figure.

Muscle tension, headaches and back problems can all be the consequence of a badly fitting bra. The best way to make sure that your lingerie fits is to have yourself sized by a proper lingerie consultant. This is especially important to do if you are a teenager because as you grow your measurements can change rapidly necessitating the need to buy new lingerie more frequently.  Some teens need to buy new lingerie every couple of months to accommodate their blossoming assets.

Yet another thing to consider when buying a bra is what type of lifestyle it suits. Lingerie comes in several different styles nowadays and some styles are for support, others are built for comfort and still others are built for style. Special lingerie is also made to be worn while practicing athletics and still other types (like Spanks) might be attached to body firming girdles.

If you are a teenager your first bra is likely to be a training bra. These bras do not have cups and are meant to provide some modesty to breasts that are growing. However not every teen starts out with a training bra. Some teens need full sized cups quite quickly.

Light support bras are bras with no underw8re and usually worn by women with flatter breasts.  Women with fuller breast also wear them because they feel less restrictive however it should be noted that they offer less shaping and look better on skinnier individuals. Many light support bras are designed for the flatter chested woman and have light padding in them to make the breasts look bigger.

Full support lingerie usually has plastic boning or underwire beneath the brassier cups. This is the type of bra recommended for plus size individuals and come in padded and unpadded versions.

Push up bras are designed to showcase the woman’s cleavage. These bras, that are sometimes also called push up bras use silicone inserts or pads to give the breasts additional shape. The brassiere is also structured so that it pulls the breasts together to create cleavage.
